Overview

Reethi Island Resort set in a stunning and remote location in Baa Atoll, a scenic 35 minute seaplane from Male' International Airport. Nestled amidst lush vegetation and shaded by graceful palm trees. Reethi Beach is an elegant island resort, which prides itself on its diving opportunities in the surrounding reefs, home to mantas and whale sharks.

Crystal-clear waters, fabulous white sand beaches and luxurious spa facilities create a perfect Maldivian retreat. If you wish to simply relax and unwind, there are isolated stretches of inviting white sandy beaches and gentle waves of the lagoon to massage your stress away.

Accomodation

spacious detached and semi-detached villas are built from natural materials in typical Maldivian-style, providing first class comfort in a spectacular setting.

All our villas are set amid tropical foliage fringing a long expanse of powder soft beach or on stilts over the clear blue lagoon, and have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, IDD telephone, mini-bar, in-room safe, satellite television, hairdryer, hot and cold water, with one king size (2m x 2m) or twin beds. In addition, all rooms have private sun loungers (with mattress) located at the beach.

Reethi Villa (30 Villas)

“Reethi” means beautiful, in local language. These comfortable rooms are designed to complement the beauty of the island. There are 30 detached or semi-detached Reethi Villas (38m2), just steps from the beautiful beach. Each has a partial open-air bathroom with shower, terrace and deck chairs.

In room facilities include air conditioning, ceiling fan, king size or twin bed, IDD telephone, satellite tv, mini bar, terrace, open air bathroom, fresh hot/cold water, hair dryer, in room safe.

Deluxe Villa ( 50 Villas)

Located by the exquisite sandy beach with a breathtaking view of the crystal clear lagoon and boasting a larger sitting area and a traditional Maldivian swing just outside the room. There are 50 detached beachfront Deluxe Villas. Each has a partial open-air bathroom with bath-tub and open-air rain shower, bathrobes, terrace and deck chairs.

Water Villa ( 30 Villas)

Built on stilts over the clear waters of the lagoon, designed especially for the ocean lover! There are 30 semi-detached Water Villas ( 61m2). Each has a bathroom with bath-tub and separate shower, bathrobes, large sitting area, DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, balcony with sitting area, direct lagoon access and a tropical ocean view, parasol and sun loungers (with mattress).

Dining

With five restaurants - including buffet, gourmet and speciality restaurants – Reethi Beach caters for the most discerning customer. With five bars - including pool bar and three beach bars - there is plenty of choice to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Coconut Spa

Beachfront Spa is managed by the acclaimed Coconut Spa, where the highly skilled Balinese therapists offer a pampering experience tailored to meet the needs of the individual, including a variety of massages, body and hair treatments, pedicures, manicures, facials and spa packages.

Spa facilities include air-conditioned ‘couples’ and ‘singles’ treatment rooms; ventilated thatch huts on the beach; Jacuzzi and steam room and a manicure and pedicure area plus a Spa boutique, selling a wide range of spa products.

Diving

Dive Centre is managed by Sea-Explorer, a PADI 5-star centre, visiting around 30 different sites in shallow reefs, the outer reef, atoll reefs and house reefs, many reached within a 20 to 30-minute boat journey from Reethi Beach.

The programme includes: day and night dives, a full range of dive courses, including Open Water, Referral, Nitrox, Rescue, and Advanced courses, boat trips, day and night snorkel excursions, trial dives and snorkel introductions for the novice as well as equipment rental.
